Meet our St Luke's Lottery team!

Our team of friendly and dedicated door-to-door lottery canvassers are employed by Engage & Connect and work on behalf of St Luke's Hospice.

Their job is to connect people to our lottery and help them understand how vital it is to support funding the care and services we provide at St Luke's.

For your peace of mind

Our team will be easily identifiable in their official St Luke's Hospice uniforms and will carry ID badges to confirm they are genuine representatives.

Safe and secure: If you choose to join the St Luke's Lottery through our team, you'll be invited to set up a direct debit payment. This will involve sharing your account number and sort code, which are completely safe details to provide. (Our team will never ask for your full debit or credit card number).

Finding our team

The team works across Sheffield, typically weekdays from 10am -5pm, although they occasionally work weekends too.

Donation methods: Please note that for security reasons, the team cannot accept cash donations, cheques, or property donations (such as items for our shops).

In 2023, £707,466 was raised from ticket sales in our St Luke's Weekly Lotteries and seasonal Draws, with 15.93% spent on prizes, 26.21% on expenses and 57.86% being used to fund the work of St Luke's Hospice*. *Based on the Lottery Submissions made by St Luke's Hospice to the Gambling Commission, during the 2023 calendar year. In 2023, the likelihood of winning a prize was, on average, 1 in 123 in our regular St Luke's Weekly Lotteries & 1 in 6,905 in our seasonal Draws. Players in our weekly lotteries are automatically entered into a weekly Rollover draw in which they could win up to £15,000. The Rollover prize increases by £375 each week it isn't won; in 2023 the likelihood of winning the Rollover prize was, on average, 1 in 686,782. At the point the prize reaches £15,000, one lucky player will be guaranteed to win it that week.
